Designing asymptotic networks offers the benefit of straight lamella construction and repetitive, orthogonal joints. Current research with the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and the Facade manufacturer GOMORE, is investigating doubly curved building envelopes. An initial facade substructure is built this fall and will facilitate as a testing ground for various cladding solutions.
